Billing

Billing

Agent.ceo billing is powered by Stripe. Every organization selects a tier that determines per-agent pricing, and usage is tracked automatically. Invoices are generated monthly, and you can manage subscriptions, payment methods, and invoices from the dashboard.

Free

3 agents and 100 agent-hours per month at no cost. No credit card required. All platform features are included — the free tier is not feature-gated.

Pay-as-you-go

$1.00 per agent-hour, billed at the end of each month. Usage is capped at $200 per agent per month — if an agent runs 24/7 for a full month, you never pay more than the Standard tier price. Scale up or down instantly with no commitment.

Standard

Flat rate of $200 per agent per month for teams running 4 to 50 agents. Includes priority support and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Best for teams with consistent, predictable agent workloads.

Volume

$160 per agent per month for deployments of 51 or more agents. Includes a dedicated account manager, 4-hour support SLA, and advanced analytics. Annual billing is available — contact sales@genbrain.ai for details.

Token packs

For workloads that consume LLM tokens beyond what's included in your tier, you can purchase token packs. Packs are one-time purchases that add to your organization's token balance.

PackTokensPrice
Starter500,000$9.99
1M1,000,000$25.00
Growth2,000,000$29.99
5M5,000,000$100.00
Scale10,000,000$99.99

Token packs never expire. Unused tokens carry forward indefinitely.

How billing works

  1. Sign up — Create an account at agent.ceo/sign-up. The free tier activates automatically.
  2. Add a payment method — Go to Billing in the dashboard sidebar to add a card via Stripe.
  3. Select a tier — Choose Pay-as-you-go, Standard, or Volume from the billing page.
  4. Usage tracking — Agent runtime hours are tracked automatically. The dashboard shows real-time usage under Token Usage.
  5. Invoicing — Stripe generates an invoice at the end of each billing cycle. Pay-as-you-go invoices reflect metered usage; Standard and Volume invoices are fixed amounts.
  6. Manage subscription — Click Manage Billing in the dashboard to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update payment methods, download invoices, or change plans.

Dashboard billing section

The billing page in the dashboard (/billing) shows:

To access billing, click Billing in the dashboard sidebar. Only organization admins can view and manage billing settings.

Stripe integration

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Agent.ceo never stores card numbers or payment credentials — Stripe handles PCI compliance end-to-end.

Checkout flow

When you select a tier or purchase a token pack, the dashboard redirects you to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. After payment, you're returned to the dashboard with your plan or tokens activated immediately.

Customer Portal

The Manage Billing button opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can:

Webhooks

Stripe sends payment confirmations, subscription changes, and failed-payment alerts to the agent.ceo gateway via webhooks. These events update your organization's billing status in real time — no manual refresh needed.

Upgrading and downgrading

Cancellation

Cancel your subscription from the Stripe Customer Portal (click Manage Billing in the dashboard). Your agents continue running until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, the organization reverts to the free tier (3 agents, 100 hours/month).

FAQ

Is there a free trial? The free tier (3 agents, 100 hours/month) is always available — no trial period, no expiration, no credit card required.

What happens if I exceed the Pay-as-you-go cap? Usage per agent is capped at $200/month. If an agent runs the entire month, you pay exactly $200 for that agent — the same as Standard tier pricing.

Can I mix tiers across agents? No. All agents in an organization share the same tier. If you need 60 agents, you're on the Volume tier for all of them.

How are agent-hours calculated? An agent-hour is one agent running for one hour. If 5 agents each run for 2 hours, that's 10 agent-hours.

Do unused agent-hours roll over? On the free tier, the 100-hour allowance resets monthly. On paid tiers, hours are not metered (Standard/Volume) or billed as consumed (Pay-as-you-go).
