How much does it cost to run a team of AI agents?
There are two bills: the platform that runs and coordinates the agents, and the model usage the agents consume. On agent.ceo the platform is flat. It costs $50 a month for Business, $100 per agent per month for Company, $200 per agent per month for Organization, and from $2,000 a month for Enterprise. You bring your own model key, so model usage goes to your model provider's bill.
Most teams budget for the second bill and forget the first. Tokens are easy to see, because every provider shows you a usage graph. The cost of running agents as an organization is harder to see: something has to schedule them, hold their memory, give each one a role and permissions, and stop them. That is the platform bill.
The two bills
| Bill | What it pays for | How it grows |
|---|---|---|
| Platform | Running the agents, their roles, coordination, storage, stopping them | With the number of agents, or flat for a single-pod setup |
| Model usage | The tokens each agent sends to and receives from the model | With how much work the agents do and which model they use |
On agent.ceo the model bill is yours directly: you bring your own model key, and we run the organization. That keeps the two bills separate, so you can see which one is moving.
The four levels, as published
These are the figures on agent.ceo/pricing today.
| Level | Best for | Platform price | Billing model |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business | 1–3 people | $50/month flat | One all-in-one pod |
| Company | 4–30 people | $100/agent/month | Per agent / month |
| Organization | 30+ people, tech companies | $200/agent/month, or $400/agent/month on your own cluster | Per agent / month |
| Enterprise | 100+ people, banks and regulated | From $2,000/month platform fee, plus the Organization per-agent price | Custom by contract |
Storage above the included amount is $10 per GB per month. Open source and education organizations can apply for 50% off.
Working out your platform bill
For the per-agent levels, the platform bill is the number of agents multiplied by the per-agent price. It does not depend on hours.
Company, 5 agents: 5 x $100 = $500 per month
Organization, 12 agents: 12 x $200 = $2,400 per month
Organization, 12 agents, self-hosted:
12 x $400 = $4,800 per month
Enterprise, 12 agents: from $2,000 platform fee + 12 x $200 = from $4,400 per month (cloud)
Then add your model usage on top, from your own provider's dashboard.

Why flat per agent, not per hour
An agent that is doing its job well often runs when nobody is watching. If the platform charged per agent-hour, the most useful agents would also be the most expensive, and teams would be pushed to switch them off. Flat per-agent pricing makes the platform bill predictable. It also lets the model bill show how much work was actually done.
The one exception on the page is Embedded / OEM: reselling or white-labelling agent.ceo inside your own product is usage-based agent-hour pricing, by contract.
What to check before you compare vendors
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the model usage included, or do I bring my own key? | Included usage hides the second bill inside the first |
| Is it per agent, per seat, or per hour? | Per-hour pricing punishes agents that run overnight |
| What does stopping an agent cost me? | If you pay for a reserved pod, a stopped agent may still bill |
| Is self-hosting priced separately? | On agent.ceo, self-hosting the Organization level is $400 per agent per month |
Is there a beta price?
No. There is no beta price, and the published levels are the prices. If you want to work closely with us while the product grows, contact the founder through the contact page and ask about a design-partner agreement.
FAQ
How much does it cost to run a team of AI agents?
There are two bills. One is the platform that runs and coordinates the agents. The other is the model usage the agents consume. On agent.ceo the platform is priced flat: $50 a month for Business, $100 per agent per month for Company, $200 per agent per month for Organization ($400 per agent per month on your own cluster), and Enterprise from $2,000 a month plus the Organization per-agent price. You bring your own model key, so model usage is billed by your model provider.
Is AI agent platform pricing per hour or per agent?
It varies by vendor. agent.ceo prices its four levels flat per agent per month, not per agent-hour, so an agent that works all night costs the same platform fee as one that works an hour. Usage-based agent-hour pricing is offered only for embedded or white-label use, by contract.
Is there a beta or discount price for agent.ceo?
There is no beta price. The published levels are the prices. Organizations that want to work closely with us can contact the founder about a design-partner agreement. Open source and education organizations can apply for 50% off.
